How to Find The Market Tafarn

The Market Tafarn Public House in Abergavenny is situated on the corner of Market Street & Lion Street.

Approaching Abergavenny from the South

If you are travelling via the A40, A4042, A465 or arriving on the train come up the Monmouth Road passing the Bus Station and continuing towards the Town Hall on Cross Street. Turn right immediately before the pedestrianised area into Market Street and The Market Tafarn is on your right just passed the public car parks.

Approaching Abergavenny from the West

If you are travelling from the West on the A40 come past Nevill Hall Hospital, straight on at the round about and follow the road around until you see Tescos then Robert Price on your right. Turn right just after the pedestrian crossing into King Street then left into Lion Street. The Market Tafarn is right infront of you.
